Workers Compensation & MVA Exercise Physiology in Perth

Evidence-based rehabilitation for injured workers in clinic at Victoria Park or mobile to your home, your local gym, or a gym close to your workplace. Programs built around the real physical demands of the job, with reporting your GP, insurer and employer can act on.

Workers compensation patient lifting and object to help with their injury and recovery

REFERRAL RESPONSE TIME

Three ways into the same program

START HERE

FOR INSURERS AND CASE MANAGERS

Refer directly, without the GP wait

Objective baselines, progress reports at agreed review points, and a programme tied to the certificate of capacity.

FOR EMPLOYERS AND RTW COORDINATORS

Suitable duties you can actually roster

Restrictions and duty options written against the real physical demands of the role, so the return-to-work sticks.

FOR INJURED WORKERS

One-on-one and we can come to you

If travel or time off work is the barrier, we run your program at home, at your local gym or near your worksite.

REFERRAL PATHWAYS

However the referral reaches us, we take it from there

We accept WorkCover WA and self-insured claims. Approval and liaison are our job, not yours, we contact the insurer, confirm funding before the first session, and keep the treating GP in the loop.

01

GP referral, then insurer approval

Your GP writes the referral for exercise physiology. Send it through and we request approval from the insurer before your first appointment.

02

Insurer or case manager refers directly

Send the claim number and current certificate of capacity. You get availability, a proposed program and expected review points within one business day.

03

Employer or RTW coordinator initiates

Have a worker on restricted duties who is not progressing? Contact us and we will coordinate with the treating GP and the insurer to get the program approved.

MOBILE WORKERS COMPENSATION

If travel is the barrier, we remove it

Distance, fatigue and time off work stall too many claims. Our mobile service brings the same one-on-one program to wherever it is easiest for the worker to attend, which keeps attendance high and the claim moving.

Your home

Equipment brought to you. Bands, weights and testing gear for a full session.

Your local gym

We meet you at the gym you already use, so the program continues between sessions.

A gym near your workplace

Ideal on suitable duties, train before, after or around a shift without a separate trip.

Areas we travel to

Yanchep in the north, out to Bullsbrook and Mundaring, down to Rockingham.

Joondalup

Travel charges. Travel is charged and apportioned across appointments in the same area, so distance stays affordable for the claim. We will confirm the travel component in writing with the insurer before the first mobile visit.

SUITABLE DUTIES & GRADED RETURN TO WORK

A staged path from current capacity back to full duties

Every stage is measured, so the certificate of capacity and the duties on the floor stay in step with what the worker can genuinely tolerate.

Stage 1

Strength, range, capacity and pain behaviour, tested against the physical demands of the actual role.

Assessment & functional baseline

Stage 2

Written restrictions and specific duty options the employer can roster, not generic advice to avoid lifting.

Suitable duties recommendations

Stage 3

Progressive loading that closes the gap between current capacity and the full requirements of the job.

Graded conditioning

Stage 4

Self-management and maintenance capacity, so the same injury does not send the worker back out again.

Full duties & durability

FOR INSURERS & CASE MANAGERS

Reporting and compliance

You should never have to chase us for a progress update, and the file should always show why each session was clinically necessary.

  • Initial assessment report with objective, repeatable baselines

  • Progress reports at agreed review points, with measured change

  • Outcomes mapped to the certificate of capacity and duty restrictions

  • Direct liaison with the treating GP, employer and case manager

  • Clear discharge planning and a self-management handover.

FOR EMPLOYERS & RTW COORDINATORS

Return-to-work outcomes

The cost of a claim sits in time lost and in re-aggravation. Both come down when conditioning is matched to the job rather than to a general exercise plan.

Duties advice grounded in real demands

We ask what the shift actually involves including loads, heights, repetition, hours.

Workplace-relevant conditioning

Training replicates the task, not a machine that vaguely resembles it.

Fewer aggravations on return

Capacity is built past the requirement before full duties resume, not up to it

One point of contact

The same exercise physiologist across the claim

Injured worker lifting a item and replicating their job role

FOR INJURED WORKERS & CLAIMANTS

What to expect at your first session

60 MINUTES

One-on-one with your exercise physiologist. No group classes, no waiting room circuit.

WE TALK

Your injury, your claim status, and honestly what your job asks of your body.

Objective measures of strength, movement and capacity. Your baseline to progress from.

WE TEST

WE START

You leave with a program you have already practised, not a handout to figure out later.
